| This historic town, situated in the heart of Tarka Country, is just one and a half miles drive. It is a friendly traditional market town with its recently refurbished Victorian Pannier Market. In the centre of town is Torrington 1646, which reconstructs the 17th century town at the time of the Battle of Great Torrington.
