Situation

Furze Farm Bed & Breakfast is one and a half miles north of the historic town of Great Torrington in the heart of Tarka Country. RHS Rosemoor Gardens, the Tarka Trail, Torrington 1646 and Dartington Crystal are only 5 minutes drive. There are 20 miles of picturesque walks around Torrington's 365 acres of Common land.

Bideford, Appledore, Instow, Westward Ho! and Atlantic Village shopping outlet are within 20 minutes drive. Barnstaple, Clovelly, NT Arlington Court, Marwood Hill Gardens, Hartland Abbey and the beaches of the North Devon and North Cornwall coast are within easy reach as are the moors of Exmoor and Dartmoor.

Accommodation

One double, one double/twin and one single room all ensuite or private bathroom. The beds are pocket sprung and guests often remark on their comfort. All rooms have digital TV, tea tray, clock alarms, hairdryers and towels are supplied. Comfort and warmth are a priority.

Food

A traditional hearty English farmhouse breakfast is served using local free-range eggs, butcher's sausages and fresh home baked bread. Numerous good eating-places can be found within 5 minutes drive or guests are welcome to bring back takeaway food.
